When a house needs to be moved across a frozen lake in Saskatchewan, we are called to the job.  We built an ice road to support the massive 2 1/2 story home weighting approximately 112,000 lbs, plus the winch truck.  The house was pulled out from the lake front shore property and pulled down the ice road 4 km to the boat launch of Kipabiskau Lake, then up onto the highway onward to its new lot close to Wapiti, SK.
